Third-party devices¶

Some third-party devices (i.e. not created by Famoco) are compatible with the Famoco Layer and the MDM. If you have an existing stock of devices you would like to work alongside your Famoco devices in the MDM, please contact your sales representative.

Warning

To register these devices into the MDM, a factory reset is required beforehand. If these devices are already operating, they will lose their existing data and configuration.

Currently compatible devices¶

The following devices have been tested and are deemed Famoco MDM compatible:

Mobigo 2+
Google Pixel 7a

Feature compatibility¶

Since Famoco does not control the Operating System included on these devices, not all features that Famoco provides are accessible through them. Please check the following page for more information.

Validating new devices¶

In case your existing stock of devices is not currently validated as compatible, a process exists to request an investigation from Famoco's teams in order to evaluate if your devices could be used with Famoco's MDM and Famoco Layer.

Prerequisites

Device must be Android 12 or above
Device must be GMS certified
